What’s it good for?
Deep tissue massage is effective for people experiencing muscular and chronic pain, or recovering from an injury. It helps to relax muscles, increase blood flow, and therefore the oxygen flow and nutrients around your body, which helps strengthen and heal muscles.
What to expect?
We’ll begin your session by talking about any special problems you have, how the problem occurred, if anything improves it or makes it worse, your lifestyle, and exercise routine e.t.c
To help you relax, you’ll be able to choose some ambient background music to play throughout your massage.
Relaxation helps to get into the deeper layers of the muscle. So that your muscles work with you rather than against you. Also, if you prefer, your massage can be done without music.
Deep tissue massage can be intense and some discomfort can be expected, but your massage shouldn’t be painful. To help ensure that you’re fully relaxed, your massage will start and end with some relaxation movements to make sure you get fell the full benefits of your massage.
You’re in full control and its important to let me know if you need more or less pressure – firmer is not always better.
After your massage, you may feel a bit sore and even tired, and you’ll be given time to relax and get dressed.
It’s also very important to drink plenty of water after your massage to help to flush toxins from the muscles. It can also be beneficial to have a bath or a shower later in the day.

“Thanks so much for such a lovely massage, really helped to reduce and relax the many tight knots and much needed relaxation. The room was cosy and warm with ambient sound and lighting. High standards of cleanliness. Will definitely be back again.”
“I was recommended to see Emma for a problem I have with my knee. After 2 massage sessions with her she has got me back to being mobile and able to walk again. She certainly knows what she’s and everyday she has contacted me with advise & support. I will now be visiting her on the regular “
